We took a trip to Birmingham over the weekend. Joshua had a great time visiting with family. Joshua got to do some early trick-or-treating in his pumpkin outfit. It's the same one he wore last year which was made by his talented Grandottie. Jerry Pop even had success getting our pumpkin to keep his top on! Thanks to Aunts Celeste and Elaine for letting everyone hang at our house. Unfortunately Daddy had pinkeye and Mommy got called in to work Sunday so we had to leave sooner than planned. We didn't get to see everyone, but with Thanksgiving just around the corner, we'll be back soon.
We had such a good time visiting, especially with Joshua! He is absolutely delightful! And so smart! Is anyone surprised about that? And clearly, he's a Bama boy. He didn't even flinch when 7 loud adults were cheering when Bama intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. Nope, he just stood there grinning and clapping his own hands. What a guy!
Matt and Emily met at the University of Alabama while studying mechanical engineering. Four years later we were married in Birmingham, AL and bought a home in Helena. Two years later we moved to Pensacola, FL for a job opportunity. Two years later we had a beautiful baby boy. And then two years and two weeks later we added another beautiful baby boy. Our happy family includes Matt, Emily, Joshua, Noah and our two dogs, Hardy and Ridley. I wonder what the next two years will bring?

What an Alabama crew! I love that he can still wear the pumpkin from last year, great planning! He is too cute. :)
