My boys

Here are some tidbits about what my boys have been up to lately:
Noah's eyes look like they will definitely be brown.  There was some question as to if they would be hazel, but they are definitely a beautiful brown (like Mommy and Joshua).  He has a deep belly button, which he also gets from his mommy, unlike Joshua who has a little bebo.  He is quite the smiley boy and has started laughing sweet giggles when you talk to him.  He is wearing size 2 diapers and solidly fills out his 3 month clothes.  Mommy really needs to wash his 6 month clothes so he won't have to squeeze into his current ones.  He still does not like pacis and rejected the first bottle we tried to give him.  Hopefully he'll figure it out.  He's still sleeping about 6 hours straight at night which is wonderful!
* Joshua's 3 favorite foods are still steak, pizza, and crab claws.  We recently went to a restaurant for dinner and Joshua was eating mommy's steak as fast as we could put it on his plate.  At one point he started wailing and big tears were  rolling down his cheeks.  Matt said "What happened?  Show daddy wear it hurts."  Joshua held up a finger.  He was eating so fast he bit his finger.  Poor baby!
* Joshua is better at saying the blessing - when he wants to.  He will fold his hands and say "God is great, God is good. Let us thank him for the food. AMEN!" Of course sometimes when we say "Do you want to say the blessing?" He'll say "Nooo! No blessing! No blessing!"
*Joshua recently did a very two year old thing - he used a crayon to color our couch.  Fortunately he wrote on the upholstery behind the cushion, so no one should ever see it, but I still want to know "Why would you do that?"  And where was mommy?  Changing Noah's diaper of course.
*Most exciting new trick - Joshua recently demonstrated his handle on the alphabet.  All the alphabet magnets were mixed up on the refrigerator and we asked Joshua "Find the "A" please."  So he stood in front of the fridge thinking it through and brought it to us saying "it that?"   We went through the entire alphabet and he brought them all.  He confused "M" and "W" but they are similar so it's understandable.  We are so proud of our smart little boy.  What will you discover next?

A recent conversation:
I gave Joshua some Cheerios to eat while I was feeding Noah. Here's the conversation when I came back:
Me - Did you eat all the Cheerios? Are they in your tummy? (I was expecting him to show me his tummy which is usually how he "tells" me he's eaten something.)
J - No.
Me - No? Where are they?
J - In the couch.
At least he's honest...
Nap Time!
